The United Cafe, located just a few hundred yards from Old Trafford, voluntarily closed its doors after rats were discovered, according to the Metro. The cafe received a zero-star hygiene rating when an inspection was carried out in August.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The cafe is a popular spot for match-going fans, but they had to go elsewhere while it was temporarily closed. Following the inspection, which included an examination of the cleaning procedures and hazard analysis, a report read: "Visit due to issues with rat activity in the area. Premises closed voluntarily due to rat infestation."
DID YOU KNOW?
A deep clean and proofing work was required before the cafe was allowed to reopen. The same measures applied to a venue next door called Legends, which also closed due to the infestation.
