WHAT HAPPENED?
Egypt initially called up the 31-year-old for theinaugural Winsunited Cup between March 22-26, featuring the Pharaohs, Croatia, Tunisia, and New Zealand. However, the former Roma man is not in their 25-man squad for the tournament - something Liverpool will be relieved about as he comes back from a hamstring injury.
Despite missing chunks of the season due to international duty and injury, Salah - who is out of contract in 2025 at Anfield - is Liverpool's top scorer this season with 19 goals and nine assists in 29 games in all competitions.
