Jobe Bellingham drama at Borussia Dortmund after parents try to confront manager for subbing Jude's brother at half-time in collapse at St Pauli

On Saturday, Bellingham's Bundesliga debut turned sour as he was subbed at half-time in Dortmund's 3-3 draw with St Pauli. According to Sky Germany, his father, Mark, voiced frustration to sporting director Sebastian Kehl. BILD added that he made his anger clear, criticising both the substitution and Dortmund's late collapse, and he personally sought out coach Kovac to give him a piece of his mind.

The incident comes amid a disappointing day for Dortmund, who blew a 3-1 lead with minutes to go to draw 3-3 at St Pauli. Bellingham's £32 million (€37m) arrival from Sunderland had raised expectations, but his Bundesliga bow ended in frustration after just 45 minutes. The involvement of his family has now added a fresh layer of tension behind the scenes.

Speaking to the media after the confrontation, Kehl said: "We are all disappointed about the result yesterday. And still, the active area at our club remains reserved for players, coaches and officials, not families and advisors. This will not happen again. We have made this clear to all involved."

The 19-year-old is still expected to play a key role for Borussia Dortmund this season despite the rocky debut. Kovac will hope the matter settles quickly as his team prepare for their next Bundesliga clash. Bellingham must now focus on proving himself on the pitch and earning back his place in the starting XI.
