Harry Kane-backed Reflo launch world's first VEGAN football kit as Forest Green Rovers show off bold leopard print designs

The National League side have revealed new home and away strips for the 2025-26 season and have produced "the world’s first fully certified vegan kit." The club have worked with Reflo, the sportwear brand co-owned by England and Bayern star Harry Kane, to come up with an eye-catching collection. Forest Green Rovers will wear a bold design that features a leopard print pattern which is inspired by nature. The players will wear a bright green version at home and a shocking pink jersey on their travels.

The team will wear the new home kit for the next two seasons as part of a commitment to "reduce waste and lower the burden on fans to purchase a new design every year." The kit is also designed to be completely recyclable. Forest Green Rovers will play in the National League in the 2025-26 campaign after missing out on promotion through the play-offs last season. Savage has arrived as manager this season and has vowed to get the club back into the English Football League.

The Chairman of Forest Green Rovers, Dale Vince, told the club's website: “We like to push the boundaries on sustainability issues, including what our shirts are made from because the materials we use to make things really matters. In pursuit of the most sustainable football kit we’ve experimented in previous seasons with both bamboo and with coffee grounds.

"This season our new strip pushes the boundary again - we’ve created the world’s first fully certified vegan football kit, by making sure the dyes we use, which are an often overlooked ingredient, are plant-based. Our new shirt is also fully recyclable and will be turned back into future items by Reflo. I’m really pleased to unveil our bold, bright new kit that’s inspired by nature and helping nature - that’s pretty fabulous.”

The next kit is now available to buy from the club's official website. Forest Green Rovers kick off their National League campaign on August 9 against Solihull Moors.
