Harry Kane the golden boy! Bayern Munich & England hitman gifted striking Skechers boots after emerging as Europe's leading marksman

The England captain emerged as Europe’s top scorer, netting an impressive 36 goals in his first season in Germany's top flight - while finding the net 44 times cumulatively across all competitions. This achievement has made Kane the first English striker to win the coveted Golden Shoe since Kevin Phillips achieved the feat in 2000.

Kane's accomplishment also places him among Bayern Munich's all-time greats. The 31-year-old striker becomes only the third player in the club’s history to win the Golden Shoe, following in the footsteps of legendary goal scorers Gerd Muller and Robert Lewandowski, who both claimed the award twice.

To commemorate Kane's remarkable scoring achievement, Skechers Football designed a super-limited edition of their SKX_01 boots in gold. A total of 36 pairs were produced, each individually numbered to reflect Kane's goal tally for the season.

Lionel Messi remains the most successful player in the award's history, having won it six times, followed by Cristiano Ronaldo with four wins. Kane expressed his pride in joining the ranks of such esteemed players and said: "It is something special that I am now mentioned in the same breath as these names."

Kane has already made an impact in the early stages of the 2024-25 campaign, scoring in Bayern Munich’s German Cup match against Ulm. He also played a pivotal role in Bayern’s opening Bundesliga fixture where he set up Serge Gnabry's decisive goal in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Wolfsburg. As Bayern prepare for their next challenge against Freiburg on Sunday, all eyes will be on Kane to see if he can continue his impressive run in front of goal.
