Per The Telegraph - an inquest into the death was opened last week at Oxford Coroner’s Court, with details of what happened now emerging. The incident in question took place on September 6, as Parkinson was carrying out work as a tree surgeon.

A GoFundMe page has been set up in Parkinson’s memory, with over £32,000 being pledged in donations so far. The funds raised will be used by the Parkinson family to “create a beautiful memorial or event to celebrate the life of their much-loved son Jonty”.

George Lineker has posted on social media after learning of the tragic events: “One of the nicest boys you’ll meet, taken far too soon. Fly high cousin, you’ll be missed by all.” His brother, Tobias, said in a post of his own: “Taken from us far too soon, rest in peace little cousin.”
