Endrick's performance this season for Palmeiras vindicates Real Madrid's decision to pay €60 million (£52m/$64m) for the youngster, with €35m due upfront and a further €25m in add-ons. Endrick finished with 11 goals to his name to surpass Neymar's tally of 10 strikes and remained just one shy of Ronaldo Nazario's record of 12 goals in a single campaign as a 17-year-old. Madrid feels that the teenager is destined for greatness and the Santiago Bernabeu awaits with bated breath for his arrival in June. His contract runs until 2027 but there is a clause which can see it extended through to 2030.
