Dominic Calvert-Lewin to negotiate Man Utd move himself after sacking agent with ex-Everton striker still available on free transfer

The 11-cap England international has severed ties with his representative after leaving Goodison Park and dropping into the free agent pool. He remains without a club ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign.

Offers were expected to flood in for the 28-year-old forward, but interest has been thin on the ground - potentially due to much-publicised struggles with injury down the years - and Calvert-Lewin is taking matters into his own hands when it comes to landing another contract.

He has been heavily linked with Manchester United in the past, with it not that long ago that the Red Devils were supposedly willing to pay £50 million ($67m) for his signature. A move to Old Trafford may still be on the cards.

Movement out of Manchester will be required in order to make that happen, though, with United adding Benjamin Sesko to an attacking department that already includes Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.

Calvert-Lewin is ready to enter into negotiations with any interested parties, with The Sun claiming that he is registering on the recruitment radar of Aston Villa as questions are asked of Ollie Watkins’ future in the West Midlands.
