Who has Croatia boss Zlatko Dalic picked for the World Cup 2022 in Qatar?

Losing 2018 World Cup finalists Croatia will hope to go one step further when they get on the plane to Qatar for their third consecutive World Cup appearance.

Decorated midfielder Luka Modric remains the team's skipper and having missed out on the trophy last time around, the Real Madrid star will be hoping to come back home with the iconic trophy this time around.

Croatia will have to deal with Belgium, Morocco and Canada first in Group F, though, with the African representatives their first opponents on November 23.

Zlatko Dalic's squad feature familiar faces such as Modric, Andrej Kramaric, Ivan Perisic and Mateo Kovacic. Let us take a look at the 26 players that are set to travel to Doha.

    GOALKEEPERS

Dominik Livakovic seems to be Dalic's first-choice at the moment and that's unlikely to change in the World Cup.

Ivica Ivusic and Atletico Madrid's Ivo Grbic have been named as the two other options.

    MIDFIELDERS

Skipper Luka Modric, Mateo Kovacic and Marcelo Brozovic will most likely form the midfield trio in Dalic's Croatia XI.

It is up to others, such as Nikola Vlasic and Mario Pasalic, to fight for their spots in the lineup in case Dalic rests one of his first-choice midfielders.

Croatia's midfield looks more or less set for the World Cup and it's unlikely that anyone else will have a crack at it.

Red Bull Salzburg youngster Luka Sucic is one to watch, having impressed at club level this term.
