AFPTHE BIGGER PICTURE
Nusa's price tag and likely moderate wage demands make him an affordable target for Barcelona, who still face financial constraints and are reportedly at odds internally regarding which direction the club should go in. Links with Marcus Rashford continue, though they missed out on Nico Williams, who signed a huge new deal with Athletic Club.
AFPWHAT NEXT FOR NUSA AND BARCELONA?
Nusa could soon secure a huge move to Barcelona if talks do accelerate, where he will play alongside fellow wonderkids such as Lamine Yamal, who celebrated his 18th birthday on Sunday in style, Pau Cubarsí and Pedri. Barcelona will be glad to get another high-potential face through the door but may still hope to make a marquee signing of the likes of Luis Diaz or Rashford this summer if their financial situation allows for it.
