Alisha Lehmann & Maya Jama labelled 'the best managers' in Baller League UK as Juventus star revels in 'best win' yet for MVPs United

Juventus star Lehmann and Love Island presenter Jama - who is dating Manchester City defender Ruben Dias - teamed up to form the first all-female coaching team in the short history of Baller League.

They have enjoyed an impressive run, with six victories through nine games in the inaugural version of the UK event leaving them on course to claim a spot in the Final Four and a shot at ultimate glory.

Lehmann has already tasted success as a coach in the German staging of Baller League and is looking to repeat that triumph alongside Jama. The Swiss, who is reported to have split from Brazil international boyfriend Douglas Luiz, has been a regular on the touchline.

She was back in London for the latest fixture taken in by MVPs United, as they overcame the Yanunited side managed by YouTube sensation Angryginge. Lehmann oversaw a dramatic 4-3 victory for her team.

Lehmann said afterwards: “From all the wins we got, this is the best.” One of the star turns in her squad said of why MVPs United are faring so well: “We have the best managers - Alisha, Jama. We can only work hard for these two girls. They are brilliant and support us with everything we do.”

There are two more rounds of fixtures to take in before the final league standings will determine who competes for the Baller League UK title. Lehmann and Jama are determined to get their hands on the trophy.
