Sydney will host games at Stadium Australia and Western Sydney Stadium, Perth at Perth Stadium and Perth Rectangular Stadium and Gold Coast at Gold Coast Stadium.

    • Their quarter-final will be played at Perth Rectangular Stadium, semi-final at Perth Stadium and the final at Stadium Australia (assuming they aren't eliminated)

    If the Matildas finish third in Group A and are in the top two of the three third-placed teams:

    • All of their knockout finals, including the final, will be at Stadium Australia in Sydney (assuming they aren't eliminated)

    If the Matildas finish fourth in Group A:

    • They will be eliminated from the AFC Women's Asian Cup

    Matildas vs. Korea Republic - Sun, Mar 8 - Stadium Australia

    In a crucial match to decide who is the front-runner to lead Group A, the Matildas host Korea Republic in Sydney.

    The South Koreans are currently ranked 21st in the world - just behind the Matildas in 15th.

    Australia won two friendlies against South Korea in 2025 by 2-0 and 1-0 scorelines.

    North Korea vs. China - Sun, Mar 9 - Western Sydney Stadium

    The 2022 Asian Cup champions China host up-and-coming North Korea in a regional rivalry battle.

    North Korea is currently ranked 10th in the world - which makes them the second-highest nation behind Japan (8th).

    Japan vs. Vietnam - Mon, Mar 10 - Perth Rectangular Stadium

    Asia's top-ranked team Japan faces their toughest group stage test against Vietnam.

    Japan will be aiming for their third Asian Cup title, winning the event in 2014 and 2018.
