Adam Sandler in the house at Stamford Bridge! Hollywood A-lister cheering on Chelsea against Newcastle

Ahead of kickoff at Stamford Bridge, the 57-year-old celebrity was pictured in a suite overlooking the pitch, sporting a heavy winter jacket and a light-blue sweatshirt underneath. A chilly evening at the home of the Blues, meant much of the ground was wrapped up with the temperature at kickoff standing at 46 Fahrenheit (8 Celsius).

Journalist Ben Jacobs reported that Sandler was a guest of Chelsea owner Todd Boehly.

The star of new Netflix hit drama Spaceman and legendary comedy films Happy Gilmore and The Wedding Singer, among others, was one of the key celebrities pictured attending the Premier League's marquee matchup on Monday. However, he wasn't the only one!

New York Jets' defensive tackle Quincy Williams made his way to the pitch to swap shirts with Benoit Badiashile, with the duo cheering alongside each other pregame.

Sandler was pictured earlier in the day playing pickup basketball in West London.

The Blues have an FA Cup clash with Leicester City at the weekend as they look to further advance in the tournament. Newcastle, meanwhile, take on Man City in an FA Cup clash on Saturday as well.
