Luca, born in France, has represented the French national team at youth level, but never broke into the senior team. However, the former Real Madrid goalkeeper has finally got an opportunity to make his international debut.

Manchester United reportedly considered appointing former coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before they hired Ruben Amorim last November. The Portuguese coach was brought in from Sporting CP as United parted ways with Erik ten Hag after a poor start to the 2024-25 campaign. Arsenal youth coach David Horseman has been handed a UEFA ban for an 'insulting' offence. Horseman, who recently joined the Gunners from Manchester United's youth team, was found guilty of insulting the opposition during Arsenal Under-19's UEFA Youth League clash against Athletic Club on September 16. The English side suffered a 3-1 loss away from home.
