Announcing player signings with videos featuring players on the phone and cheesy electronic music is now officially a trend

After Besiktas posted an awful video to announce the signing of Alvaro Negredo on Wednesday, Roma couldn't help but respond.

The Turkish side announced the signing on Twitter with a brief video that earned widespread mocking – and plenty of retweets.

On Thursday, the Italian side posted their own version of the Besiktas video, to "announce" the signing of Turkish international Cengiz Under – who actually joined Roma back on July 16. 

Roma raised the stakes in their video just a bit with their inspired inclusion of a goat.
