Chelsea vs Vidi: TV channel, live stream, squad news & preview

Maurizio Sarri's side are favourites to win their second Europa League group game in a row against Vidi at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.

The Blues opened their Europa League account with a 1-0 win at PAOK two weeks ago, and will be looking to claim the top spot of their group after falling behind to BATE Borisov on goal difference – which they could rectify against the Hungarians.

Vidi head into the fixture as underdogs after falling to a 2-0 loss at home to BATE Borisov in their European opener, and are currently bottom of the group.

Chelsea will be a side riding high on momentum after ending Liverpool's winning streak in the Premier League with a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Blues are unbeaten so far this season, having succumbed to just one draw in all competitions (against West Ham in the Premier League) and also having eliminated the Reds in the Carabao Cup following an Eden Hazard masterclass last week.

The Belgian international is in top form – scoring in both games against Liverpool in just a matter of days and currently leading as the league's top-scorer – though Sarri will be tempted to rest the player ahead of a crucial trip to Southampton this weekend.

Pedro may be a key figure for the fixture after suffering a shoulder issue against PAOK, having scored three goals in five league games before picking up the injury.

Cesc Fabregas is also expected to play a pivotal role in the Blues midfield after impressing in the Carabao Cup win against Liverpool, while Ross Barkley is an option and is in need of playing time.

Alvaro Morata is also an option to lead the line despite a disappointing start to the season in which he has only scored one goal in all competitions.

Vidi head into the fixture off the back of two consecutive league wins, though an away fixture to a Chelsea side is still a mountain of a task for the Hungarian side.
