Last season Fiorentina midfielder Felipe Melo was one of the revelations of the Serie A season, and now at the Confederations Cup with Brazil, he is continuing to show all his worth.
As often happens in these cases, transfer rumours surrounding him have been abundant, but it seems he has already chosen the team he wants to play for next season.
Speaking to Studio Sport, Brazil and Inter star Maicon revealed that the player asked him whether he would fit in at the Nerazzurri.
"He asked me if he can come to Inter," said Maicon.
"I answered that a player like him would certainly be a starter in our team."
Among the clubs most frequently linked with Melo are Real Madrid and especially Arsenal, who see him as a possible heir to Gilberto Silva, another tough, no-nonsense Brazilian midfielder.
