Americans On The Continent: Slow Week

Michael Bradley played the full 90 for Borussia Monchengladbach as they fought back from 1-0 down to draw 1-1 with Daniel Williams’ SC Freiburg.  The American-born defender did not dress for the fixture due to the flu, but his side scraped the point away to Michael Bradley’s M’Gladbach.

Carlos Bocanegra also played the full 90 for Rennes, but his side fell 3-1 away to Montpellier, with Rennes’ Abdou Kader Mangane seeing red in the 90th minute.
