Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
Burnley have another huge match in the battle against the drop during the week on the road to Newcastle United. Tottenham have a difficult away game themselves against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Burnley put a huge dent in Tottenham's title hopes by securing a 2-1 victory at Turf Moor this afternoon, which hands them a boost in their survival hopes at the bottom of the table. Chris Wood put the Clarets ahead in the early stages of the second half, heading home from Dwight McNeil's corner. Spurs were not happy with the decision to award the corner, but levelled the scores through Harry Kane following a contentious throw-in from Danny Rose. Sean Dyche's men responded in turn to regain the lead and Ashley Barnes scored th decisive goal in the contest, converting at the back post after Johann Gudmundsson had scuffed his effort at goal. The result takes Burnley six points clear of the relegation zone into 13th place, while Spurs are five points adrift of Manchester City at the top of the table.

He goes for a strike at goal, but scuffs his effort. However, Barnes capitalises and steers his effort Lloris to put his team back in control.

Goal
Burnley
57' GOALLLLLLLLLLL!!!! BURNLEY TAKE THE LEAD!!! 1-0!! Wood heads the home side ahead with a close-range header from McNeil's corner. Tottenham are furious with the decision to award the corner as it appeared the ball hit off Hendrick last. However, McNeil's delivery was precise into the box and Wood escaped the attention of Foyth to glance his header past Lloris, as the ball clipped the underside of the bar before crossing the line.
56' The Clarets respond to the pressure as Taylor breaks into space down the left. He sends a dangerous cross into the box and the home side win a corner as Hendrick boots the ball off the legs of Vertonghen.

48' Again Rose makes a break down the left flank and on this occasion, Tarkowski has to act ahead of Kane to steer the ball behind.
46' Rose makes a break down the left flank and he forces a low ball into the box, but there's no white shirt there to meet it.
46' We're back underway at Turf Moor.
Mauricio Pochettino wil not be overly concerned with his team's performance. It has taken them time in their previous matches since the turn of the year to find their rhythm. The Clarets have been resolute at the back, but it only takes one moment to find the breakthrough and the visitors will have confidence, especially with Kane on the field.
It's goalless at the break between Burnley and Tottenham. Neither side has been able to generate a clear-cut opening on goal during first half. Harry Kane arguably had the best opportunity when he raided to the edge of the box and fired wide of the post. Ashley Barnes had an attempt at the other end of the pitch that flashed inches over the bar. Other than that it has been relatively quiet at Turf Moor, which will please Sean Dyche.
45' HALF-TIME: BURNLEY 0-0 TOTTENHAM
45' Spurs probe for weaknesses on the edge of the Burnley box, but the Clarets hold firm to keep the visitors at bay.
43' Dyche will be pleased with the exploits of his team in the first half. They've restricted Spurs to efforts from distance, which have been simple enough for Heaton to handle.
41' Hendrick does well under pressure at the back for the home side, getting the better of Rose and winning a goal-kick for his team by smashing the ball off the full-back's legs.
39' Rose is afforded time to whip a cross into the box and Aurier attacks the ball, but it's another comfortable save for Heaton. Tottenham are starting to create half-chances on goal.
39' Aurier has space on the right flank to lift a cross into the box. Kane drifts off the back of Tarkowski, only to head a tame effort straight at Heaton.
38' The game has opened up, although neither side has enjoyed a clear-cut chance at goal.
37' McNeil gets the better of Aurier with a turn of pace down the left flank. He sends a low ball into the penalty area, although Wood and Barnes are both on their heels on the edge of the box.
36' Eriksen lifts a dangerous ball over the top of the Burnley defence, but Kane is unable to take the ball in stride as Heaton rushes out to smother at his feet.
34' Son weaves his way through Burnley defenders to break to the byline. He keeps the ball in play before firing a low ball across the face of goal, although it's Bardsley there for the hosts to clear.
33' OVER! Hendrick probes down the right flank and he digs out a cross towards Barnes on the edge of the box. The striker goes for the first-time strike, only to place his effort just over the bar.
32' Tottenham regain possession quickly and Eriksen lines up another effort from distance, although this one travels harmlessly into the hands of Heaton.
32' Kane offloads towards Eriksen on the edge of the box. The Dane pulls his man one way then the other, but his low strike is blocked by the boot of Tarkowski before the defender clears the danger.
30' Rose looks for space down the left flank, but the Burnley defence is organised and Hendrick applies the pressure that sees the Spurs full-back carry the ball out of play for a goal-kick.
28' Tottenham play the resulting corner short and Son picks out Winks on the edge of the box. The midfielder drills the ball low into the box causing a scramble, but Bardsley reacts to hammer the ball into touch.
27' Aurier tries to break down the right flank. Taylor and McNeil double up on the Ivorian, conceding a corner in the process.
25' Kane attempts to battle Tarkowski in the air and gives away a free-kick, much to the fury of the forward.
23' It remains a scrappy affair, which will concern Pochettino on the sideline, although his side have been able to grind out results of late.
21' Tottenham sustain a period of pressure in the final third. Sissoko lines up a cross to send into the box and Son pulls clear of his man, but he fails to connect with an acrobatic effort before Rose fouls Hendrick.
20' Eriksen sends a ball over the top for the run of Son, forcing Heaton to race off his line to head clear ahead of the winger.
18' The tempo has been slow from both teams in the early going. Burnley will be a lot more content with the speed of the game than Pochettino's men.
16' WIDE! A simple offload in the final third releases Kane on the edge of the box and he takes a touch to take the ball on to his left foot. He goes for the strike, only to place his effort wide of the post.
14' The Clarets are using their physical style to good effect in the early stages of the game. It's gaining them good territory in the Spurs' half.
12' Burnley are applying a high press to the Tottenham backline in possession. As a result, Spurs are having difficulties playing the game on their terms.
10' Aurier loses out to McNeil on the flank and the winger clips a cross into the box. It hangs awkwardly in the air and puts Lloris under pressure amid the presence of Wood, but the visitors are able to clear their lines after the Frenchman's punch.
8' BLOCK! Son surges into space down the right flank and he clips a cross to the back post. Rose gathers and goes for the strike, only to be denied by Bardsley, who makes the block with his head.
7' Rose raids down the left flank and he fires a low ball into the box towards the run of Kane. However, Heaton is able to gather ahead of the forward in the six-yard area.
5' It has been a scrappy start to the game as neither side has been able to get their foot on the ball.
4' Aurier fouls Taylor in the Burnley half and the home side take the opportunity to pump the ball forward into the box. Wood win a flick-on, but the ball travels safely through to Lloris.
2' Burnley win two early corners down the left, but McNeil is unable to produce a quality delivery into the box with either set-piece.
1' We're underway at Turf Moor.
Burnley are winless in their last seven Premier League meetings with Tottenham (D2 L5), since winning 4-2 on the final day of the 2009-10 campaign.
Tottenham have made four changes to their side that defeated Leicester two weeks ago in the Premier League. Kane returns to fitness and leads the line in place of Llorente, who drops to the bench. Alderweireld, Foyth and Aurier also come into the fold to replace Davinson Sanchez, Oliver Skipp and Kieran Trippier, who are all absent from the squad.
Burnley are unchanged from their 3-1 win over Brighton last time out. Dyche has retained the winning formula with no new injury worries at this stage of the campaign. Wood leads the line with Barnes after scoring a brace at the Amex Stadium. The Clarets select the same midfield, despite the return of Robbie Brady to the bench.
Tottenham subs: Erik Lamela, Victor Wanyama, Kyle Walker-Peters, Fernando Llorente, Paulo Gazzaniga, Lucas Moura, Ben Davies.
TOTTENHAM (3-4-3): Hugo Lloris; Juan Foyth, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen; Serge Aurier, Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks, Danny Rose; Christian Eriksen, Harry Kane, Son Heung-min.
SUBS: Matthew Lowton, Johann Gudmundsson, Robbie Brady, Ben Gibson, Peter Crouch, Joe Hart, Matej Vydra.
BURNLEY (4-4-2): Tom Heaton; Phillip Bardsley, James Tarkowski, Ben Mee, Charlie Taylor; Jeff Hendrick, Ashley Westwood, Jack Cork, Dwight McNeil; Ashley Barnes, Chris Wood.
Tottenham have won their last four matches on the bounce in the Premier League and another triumph this afternoon would bring them within two points of leaders Manchester City. Despite injuries to key players, Mauricio Pochettino has kept his team in the hunt. Harry Kane will return to the fold to boost his team's title push, although Spurs have not missed their leading man in the top flight at least.
Burnley have enjoyed a seven-match unbeaten run since the turn of the year in the Premier League, sparking their survival charge. The Clarets have recorded wins over West Ham, Huddersfield, Fulham and Brighton to take them three points clear of the relegation zone, although their position in the table remains precarious. Sean Dyche's men need to continue to keeping winning to keep the pressure on the teams around them.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League match between Burnley and Tottenham at Turf Moor.
