Yanga has dismissed reports in the media linking their head coach George Lwandamina with an exit.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam, General Secretary Charles Mkwasa said that they don’t know where the rumors are coming from but what they know is that Lwandamina is committed to the club and there is no exit at this stage.
“There is a lot of rumors linking our coach with an exit, this is not true because we have a contract with him and there is no point to talk about his exit at this moment,” said Mkwasa.
Yanga who currently sit second on the Ligi Kuu table are preparing for their CAF Champions League clash against Botswana side, Township Rollers on Wednesday.
Rumors suggest that Lwandamina is keen to return to his former club Zambian side Zesco FC which he managed successfully for two seasons before he made the move to join Yanga in 2016.
The former Chipolopolo (Zambia national team) player won the Ligi Kuu in his first season in charge.
