The South Americans’ roster for next month’s youth championship has been confirmed

Colombia have unveiled their final team for the 2017 Fifa Under-17 World Cup to be held in India next month.

The squad is largely the side that came fourth at the South American championship in Chile earlier this year.

Set for their sixth appearance at the youth fiesta, coach Orlando Restrepo’s list includes Santiago Barrero, Juan Penaloza and JamintonCampaz, who account for 75 per cent of Colombia’s goals in qualifying, having struck three times each.

At India 2017, Los Cafeteros will play in Group A, which also houses the hosts, two-time champions Ghana and Concacaf championship finalists the USA.

Retrespo’s outfit will open their campaign against the Black Starlets on October 6 before facing the hosts and the Stars and Stripes on October nine and 12 respectively.
