England are 16/1 (17.0) with dabblebet to win the World Cup after Gareth Southgate announced his squad on Wednesday afternoon.
Joe Hart and Jack Wilshere both missed out on a spot – as was widely reported on Tuesday – with Nick Pope and Ruben Loftus-Cheek being selected ahead of them.
Ryan Bertrand will also not be going to Russia after Southgate elected to take Danny Rose and Ashley Young over the Southampton left-back, with Liverpool youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold also on the plane.
The Three Lions will face Belgium, Costa Rica and Panama in Group G, which they are 23/20 (2.15) to top and just 1/8 (1.12) to qualify from.
There will be no love lost when England play Belgium in their final group game, with Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Kieran Trippier all playing club football with Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld.
Southgate’s men open their World Cup campaign against Tunisia in Volgograd and are currently 4/11 (1.36) favourites to beat their African opponents.
Leicester City’s Yohan Benalouane has been included in Tunisia’s preliminary group, along with Sunderland striker Wahbi Khazri, but England will still expect to open with a comfortable victory.
After netting 30 times in the Premier League this term, Kane is 14/1 (15.0) to take his place in World Cup history by winning the Golden Boot, with Jamie Vardy available at 66/1 (67.0) and Raheem Sterling at 80/1 (81.0).
