MFM defender Emiloju Julius is upbeat that the Olukoya Boys have what it takes to get a good result against Enugu Rangers in their matchday 16 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) this weekend.
The Flying Antelopes have lost just once in the league this season, against MFM in Lagos, just days after they were ousted from the Caf Confederation Cup.
Despite the hosts' good run of form in the top-flight, Emiloju believes his team can do a double against the seven-time NPFL champions.
“Rangers is just like every other NPFL team. I don’t see anything special in the team. So, our game against them will just be like every other NPFL match," the left-back told the club's media office.
“We know how to play Rangers, if you look at the statistics you will realise that it has always been a tight contest for both of us.
“I believe we have all it takes to crush them at home. We are very confident. Being the only team that have beaten them this season. I think we can do it again in Enugu.
Sunday’s meeting will be the seventh between the two teams. Both side have won two, lost two and drew two. In all of the meetings, Rangers scored five goals, one more than MFM.
