Wazito and Chemelil Sugar shares spoil in KPL relegation battle

Wazito will be on the road when they take on Kakamega Homeboyz

Chemelil Sugar picked a vital point on the road after settling for a 0-0 draw with Wazito FC on Monday.

The Millers, who lost their mid-week match against Gor Mahia, bounced back with a draw; a relatively good performance by the side that is just a place above the relegation zone.

Wazito, on the other hand, remained second from the basement with 24 points, four above bottom-placed Thika United and three behind Vihiga United.

Unlike Chemelil, Wazito had won their last game against relegation candidate Thika United but Frank Ouna charges could not carry the same form past a youthful Chemelil side.

Wazito will be on the road when they take on Kakamega Homeboyz next as Chemelil hosts second placed Bandari at the Chemeli Sports Complex.

Wazito XI:  Musalia Martin, Kilonzo Oliver, Owino Dan, Saleh Jackson, Njeru Antony, Wanjala Edwin, Onyango Marvin, Owino Chris, Pisca Muhindo, Lavatsa Edwin and Onyango Derrick
