Watford confirms Brice Dja Djedje’s departure to Lens

The defender has not made a single top-flight appearance for the Hornets since his arrival at the club and has joined the Blood and Gold temporarily

Watford have confirmed the departure of Brice Dja Djedje to French second-tier outfit, Lens on loan till the end of the season.

The Cote d'Ivoire international endured a torrid time at the Vicarage Road as he found first-team action difficult to come by.

The defender last featured for the Hertfordshire outfit in their FA Cup fourth-round exit against Millwall.

Djedje joined Watford from Olympique Marseille in the summer of 2016 and made just two appearances for the club.
