VIDEO: Williams handball leads to last-minute penalty for Man United

Everton thought it had pulled off a dramatic victory at Old Trafford on Tuesday, until Ashley Williams' ill-advised clearance attempt deep into stoppage time resulted in a penalty kick for Manchester United.

The Merseysiders were leading 1-0 until the third minute of stoppage time, when Williams' failed attempt at a header ended up being a hand ball near the top of the 6-yard box — which meant United was awarded a spot kick and the Welsh defender was shown a red card.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic — who else? — calmly stepped up to the spot and slotted home the penalty, giving the home side a share of the spoils mere moments before the final whistle.
