U.S. midfielder Mix Diskerud has been loaned from Manchester City to Ulsan Hyundai in the K-League.

The midfielder, 27, joined the Premier League club in January, though he was never expected to play with the first team.

The former New York City FC midfielder has spent the last year and a half on loan at IFK Goteborg, with his initial loan move coming from the MLS side before his contract with NYCFC was canceled.

In total, he made 41 starts for the Allsvenskan club while on loan.

Ulsan sit fifth in the K-League table, having picked up 25 points from 18 matches.

Diskerud has played 38 times for the U.S. national team, but has not suited up for the country since March 2016.
