UEFA Champions League Highlights: PSG, Man City, Bayern Munich & more

The quarter-finals of the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League is up and running after the Covid-19 enforced break. PSG managed to reach the semifinals last night after a stunning victory while RB Leipzig knocked out Atletico. Barcelona were handed an almighty thrashing by Bayern Munich.

Paris Saint-Germain produced a stunning late turnaround to beat Atalanta 2-1 and reach the Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 1995.

RB Leipzig 2-1 Atletico Madrid

RB Leipzig snatched a late 2-1 victory against Atletico Madrid thanks to Tyler Adams' deflected strike, booking a Champions League semi-final date with Paris Saint-Germain. Leipzig, shorn of top scorer Timo Werner following his move to Chelsea, stunned Atletico in another dramatic finish in Lisbon after Joao Felix had pulled the LaLiga giants back into the tie.

Barcelona 2-8 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich made a grand statement in the Champions League as they hammered Barcelona 8-2 to book their semi-final place in remarkable fashion. Lionel Messi and his team-mates were swept aside by the dominant Bundesliga champions in a chaotic first half, with Philippe Coutinho then coming on to deal further blows to his parent club in the closing stages.

Manchester City 1-3 Lyon

Manchester City again came unstuck against Lyon in the Champions League as a controversial 3-1 defeat saw Pep Guardiola miss out on a semi-final against his former club Bayern Munich.
