The group stages of the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League is nearing conclusion. The first set of eight matches on the final matchday of the group stage produced exciting action. There were wins for Chelsea and Liverpool that took them through to the knockout stages while Inter Milan and Ajax were the big name casualties on the day.

Inter failed to get beyond the Champions League group stage for a second successive season after losing 2-1 at home to Barcelona, with Ansu Fati's late winner making him the youngest scorer in the competition's history.
2) Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Slavia Prague
Borussia Dortmund qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League thanks to a 2-1 win over Slavia Prague on Tuesday.
3) Chelsea 2-1 Lille
Chelsea completed the job against Lille as Tammy Abraham and Cesar Azpilicueta sent the Blues through to the Champions League's last 16.
4) Ajax 0-1 Valencia
Valencia progressed to the last 16 of the Champions League with a 1-0 win at Ajax, who will play in the Europa League in 2020 after finishing third in Group H.
5) Salzburg 0-2 Liverpool
Liverpool overcame a thorough examination from Salzburg to prevail 2-0 in Austria and book their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
6) Napoli 4-0 Genk
Arkadiusz Milik scored a first-half hat-trick as Napoli eased into the last-16 of the Champions League with a 4-0 home win over Genk.
7) Benfica 3-0 Zenit
Zenit were knocked out of the Champions League on Tuesday after a 3-0 away defeat to Benfica, who secured a Europa League spot.
8) Lyon 2-2 RB Leipzig
Memphis Depay struck a dramatic late equaliser as Lyon fought back from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 draw against RB Leipzig and earn a spot in the last 16 of the Champions League.
