Tunisia announce provisional World Cup squad

Tunisia coach Nabil Maaloul has announced a provisional 29-man squad for the 2018 Fifa World Cup.

The Carthage Eagles will be making their fifth appearance at the global showpiece and they have been paired against Belgium, England and Panama in Group G.

Seven home-based players made the list while pacy winger Youssef Msakni and talisman Yassine Khenissi were omitted due to injuries.

Leicester City's Yohan Benalouane, Esperance's Anice Badri, Kasimpasa's Siyam Ben Youssef and Rennes' Wahbi Khazri joined players from the Saudi Professional League and French Ligue 1 to complete the selection.
