Villas-Boas approached by Real Madrid

Real Madrid have approached Andre Villas-Boas over potentially becoming their new head coach, RMC reports.

The Portuguese has experience in charge of the likes of Chelsea and Zenit St Petersburg and is currently out of work.

Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with the 40-year-old, who left Shanghai SIPG in November 2017.

Man Utd to make blockbuster Mbappe move

Manchester United are preparing a mega move for PSG star Kylian Mbappe, Don Balon claims. 

The report says that PSG are hoping that by offloading Mbappe they can convince Neymar to stick around, and are considering a €270 million (£237m/$318m) bid from Jose Mourinho's side. 

The number could drop to €190m, though, with United potentially using Anthony Martial as a makeweight in any deal.

Vinicius Junior does not know where his future lies

Flamengo attacker Vinicius Junior does not know when he will join Real Madrid.

The 17-year-old will make a move to Spain for €45 million, though the timing of the deal remains unclear - even to the player.

'Angry' Ronaldo still wants out

Cristiano Ronaldo is still keen to leave Real Madrid in the summer and apparently remains "very angry" at his current situation, Marca reports.

The Portuguese had hinted at a departure from Madrid after the Champions League final and remains unhappy at the club over their attempts to renew his contract. 

Goal understands Madrid remain unconcerned by the Ronaldo exit reports , but he is apparently now approaching the point of no return over his desire to leave.

Guti to take Madrid job - and he'll sell Ronaldo

Real Madrid are ready to appoint Guti as their new manager, with the former midfielder planning an overhaul of the squad that includes the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Diario Gol reports that Madrid have placed Guti at the top of their managerial wanted list, with primary targets Mauricio Pochettino and Jurgen Klopp too expensive to release from their respective contracts at Tottenham and Liverpool.

And, once appointed, Guti will offload Ronaldo, a player he feels is at the end of his cycle at the Bernabeu, while up to four other players would also be allowed to leave.

Alisson wants future resolved before World Cup

Brazil No.1 Alisson Becker wants his future sorted out before the start of the World Cup.

The Roma star, who has emerged as of the top goalkeepers in the game, has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool, while Real Madrid have also been mentioned.

And he is keen to know where he will be playing his football next season within the next few days, insisting he has left his future in the hands of his agents.

Newcastle want Rashford on loan

Newcastle United are eyeing a loan deal for Manchester United and England striker Marcus Rashford, the Shields Gazette reports.

The 20-year-old forward impressed in a friendly outing for the Three Lions against Costa Rica recently but he has been in and out of the starting XI at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho.

And Rafael Benitez wants to take advantage of Rashford's situation at United as he aims to improve his strikeforce for the 2018-19 season.

Kovacic unsure over Madrid future as Juve lurk

Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic is unsure whether to stay at the Liga club or move to Serie A side Juventus, according to AS .

The Croatian was previously a target for Juve back in 2017 and, following Zinedine Zidane's departure as Madrid boss, Kovacic is now considering whether to make the move back to Italy, where he previously played for Inter.

Massimiliano Allegri's side have apparently already made contact with Kovacic to discover if he would be interested in making a summer switch.

Rangers eye move for Roma striker

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is preparing a loan move for Roma striker Umar Sadiq, The Sun reports. 

The Nigerian forward impressed during a loan spell at NAC Breda last season and Liverpool legend Gerrard wants to improve his options up front by bringing in the 21-year-old.

Arsenal nearing Torreira deal

Arsenal are closing in on a deal for Sampdoria's Lucas Torreira, Italian outlet ANSA  reports. 

The Uruguayan has a £22 million (€25.5m/$30m) release clause in his contract, and Sampdoria have secured the signing of Lokomotiv Zagreb's Lovro Majer, meaning the Serie A side are now willing to part with Torreira. 

Tebas backs Ronaldo & Griezmann to stay put 

La Liga president Javier Tebas believes Cristiano Ronaldo and Antoine Griezmann will stay at Real Madrid and Atletico, respectively.

Ronaldo cast doubt over his future at Madrid  after their third consecutive Champions League success last month.

Meanwhile, Griezmann's future at Atletico is uncertain, although the forward is set to announce whether he is staying at the Liga club in the coming days , amid Barcelona's interest.

"I think Cristiano stays at Real Madrid and Antoine Griezmann stays at Atletico," Tebas told  Onda Cero .

Man City to make €100m Douglas Costa move 

Manchester City are ready to table a bid of €100 million (£88m/$118m) in an attempt to sign Brazilian star Douglas Costa, according to Premium Sport HD

The winger recently signed permanently for Juventus for €40m (£35m/$47m), and the Premier League side believe the offer of such a large profit will be enough to lure the 27-year-old to Manchester. 

De Gea not ruling out Real Madrid move

David de Gea is not thinking about leaving Manchester United for Real Madrid this summer, insisting his focus sits solely with the Spanish national team ahead of the World Cup.

The 27-year-old has long been linked with a move to the Spanish capital and was close to completing a transfer to the Bernabeu in 2015.

"My future? The important thing is the World Cup and not to think of anything else that can divert you or upset you," De Gea told reporters at Spain's media day ahead the World Cup.

"You have to be focused on having a good World Cup - we are all good. Hopefully we can go far and win."

Chelsea & Liverpool to battle for Cillessen

Chelsea and Liverpool are set to battle it out for the signing of Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, the Mirror reports. 

The Blues are looking for security in goal, with Thibaut Courtois not willing to commit his future to the club. 

And Jurgen Klopp is also searching for a new goalkeeper after Loris Karius made costly blunders in the Champions League final. 

Leicester & Everton eye Maddison

Leicester City and Everton are both looking at the possibility of a move for Norwich star James Maddison, with Fulham also showing an interest, according to the Mirror

Norwich have been reluctant to offload the England Under-21 international, but are now thinking about cashing in on the youngster, who is rated at £25 million (€30m/$35m). 

PSG want Chelsea midfielder Kante

Thomas Tuchel wants Paris Saint-Germain to sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante this summer, reports The Sun .

The Frenchman's agent, Karim Douis, reportedly met with PSG's sporting director as the two try to work out a deal that would see the two-time Premier League champion move to Ligue 1. 

Salah could leave Liverpool after Russia

Mohamed Salah is prepared to leave Liverpool this summer if the club doesn't improve their midfield, Don Balon claims. 

The Egyptian has told the club of his ambitions and is not willing to stay at Anfield if Liverpool aren't willing to improve their options in the midfield area. 

Hoeness: Lewandowski won't be sold 

Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski will not be sold and reports of a €200 million (£176m/$236m) price tag are nonsense, club president Uli Hoeness has said.

Lewandowski, 29, is linked with a move away from the Bundesliga giants after his agent said last month that the Poland international wanted to leave .

Fekir had picked Liverpool number

Lyon's Nabil Fekir had already chosen his squad number at Liverpool before his move to the Premier League side collapsed. 

The Reds were so sure of the signing that they had allowed him to pick his shirt number for the 2018-19 campaign. 

But the deal fell apart after a breakdown in talks between the Merseysiders and the Ligue 1 club.

Manchester City have announced that Arsenal and France great Patrick Vieira is leaving New York City to become Nice head coach.

Vieira heads to the Ligue 1 club as a replacement for Lucien Favre, who is taking over at Borussia Dortmund.
