Mourinho open to selling Bailly


Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is open to selling defender Eric Bailly this summer, according to  The Independent .

Mourinho has grown frustrated with Bailly, having been unable to rely on the former Villarreal centre-back to remain 100 per cent fit for long periods.

And with a move for Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld in the pipeline, Bailly could soon become surplus to requirements.


Arsenal choose Emery as new manager


Unai Emery is set to be named new Arsenal manager after the Gunners made a last-minute decision not to offer Mikel Arteta the vacant job at the Emirates Stadium, Goal understands. 

Emery emerged as a late front-runner for the job after Man City assistant and former Arsenal player Arteta was signalled as the favourite to succeed Arsene Wenger.

But Emery's brilliant trophy record with Sevilla and PSG has won out, and he is expected to sign a two-year deal at the club.

Neymar wants Madrid move


Neymar is desperate to swap Paris Saint-Germain for Real Madrid this summer.

The Brazil international has told the Ligue 1 champions he wishes to leave and his agent spoke with Madrid president Florentino Pere on May 13.

Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski is being lined up as a potential replacement should he depart Parc des Princes.

Liverpool eye Tarkowski & Lascelles


Liverpool have made Burnley's James Tarkowski and Newcastle's Jamaal Lascelles their primary defensive targets this summer, according to  The Independent .

Despite spending £75 million ($100.5m) on Virgil van Dijk in January, Jurgen Klopp is keen to add another centre-back to his squad ahead of next season.

Both Tarkowski and Lascelles impressed for their respective clubs last term and would add depth to the Reds squad alongside Dejan Lovren and Van Dijk.


Cazorla set for Villarreal return


Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla is set to return to Villarreal this summer, according to  ESPN .

The Spain international is out of contract this summer, having not made an appearance for the Premier League outfit since October 2016, and has had it confirmed that he will leave the club.

And he is set to return to the club he represented for four years between 2007-2011 for pre-season training, though no offer has been made in terms of a more long-term contract.

Pep prepares £100m Hazard bid


Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made Eden Hazard his top transfer priority for the summer, claims the Daily Star .

Despite romping to a record Premier League title victory in 2017-18, the manager is keen to reinforce his attack with Chelsea's star. 

But Hazard will not come cheap, with a £100 million ($135m) fee and wages worth £300,000 ($404,000) a week needed to convince the Blues into a sale to their rivals.


Man Utd keen on Willian


Manchester United are interested in signing Chelsea forward Willian, according to  Sky Sports .

Jose Mourinho is keen to further bolster his squad after a trophyless campaign at Old Trafford, and worked with Willian during his time in west London.

Brazil international Willian, meanwhile, would be keen to leave Chelsea should Antonio Conte remain in charge.


PSG open Lewandowski talks


Paris Saint-Germain have opened talks with Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski, according to L'Equipe du Soir .

They are keeping tabs on the Poland international star in case Edinson Cavani decides to leave the club this summer. 

Cavani is wanted by Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone to supplement his attacking options next season, with Antoine Griezmann set to depart for Barcelona.


MLS an option for Hart


Joe Hart could be on his way to MLS this summer as he plots a permanent move away from Manchester City, according to  The Sun .

The England international has one year to run on his City contract but wants to find pastures new ahead of next season following loan spells at Torino and West Ham.

And New York City have emerged as an option for Hart, with the MLS outfit likely to have to pay around £3 million ($4m) for his services.


Toure set for Pellegrini reunion


Yaya Toure could be set for a reunion with former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini at West Ham, according to the  Daily Telegraph .

Ivory Coast international Toure is leaving City this summer on a free transfer but is reportedly keen to remain in the Premier League.

And Pellegrini's imminent arrival at the London Stadium is set to increase the chances of Toure joining the Irons.


Wilshere set for new Arsenal deal


Jack Wilshere is set to commit his future to Arsenal, according to The Mirror .

With Mikel Arteta set to be confirmed as the Gunners' new boss, the midfielder is poised to sign a three-year contract, having looked likely to leave the club throughout the season.

Everton, Wolves, AC Milan and Juventus had been interested in him.


Alderweireld leads Man Utd's overhaul plans


Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld leads Manchester United's transfer wishlist as Jose Mourinho prepares to overhaul his squad, according to the Mirror .

Mourinho's second season ended without a single trophy after Chelsea downed the Red Devils in the FA Cup final. 

And the manager is set to receive a pot of £250 million ($337m) to turn things around, with Alderweireld a potential target alongside the likes of Napoli's Jorginho, Fred of Shakhtar and Nice's Jean Michael Seri. 

Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian are among the players who could make way in what is set to be a busy summer at Old Trafford.


Cahill calls for Conte clarification


Chelsea's Gary Cahill has called for a swift resolution over the future of Antonio Conte after claiming that the uncertainty harmed their chances over the course of the season.

"I probably want the uncertainty to be put to bed and for whatever is going to happen, to happen," Cahill said after lifting the FA Cup at Wembley.

"Naturally, we will see what happens with the club. I don’t really want to speak about it. Today is about celebrating the FA Cup. It is out of our hands.

Real offer Bale & Kroos to seal Neymar signing


Real Madrid are prepared to include Gareth Bale and Toni Kroos in a record-breaking deal to bring Neymar to the Spanish capital, claims Don Balon .

Florentino Perez's overtures to Paris Saint-Germain have so far fallen on deaf ears, as the Ligue 1 champions hold out for €400 million (£349m/$471m) in order to consider a sale. 

But the president will try to lower that price to €200m (£175m/$235m) by offering two world-class players as part of the deal.


Roma lead the chase for Kluivert


Roma have taken the lead in the race to sign Ajax star Justin Kluivert, reports  France Football.

The 19-year-old striker is likely to be sold after rejecting Ajax's most recent contract offer , and has attracted interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs.

But the Giallorossi have made the most progress out of any of Kluivert's suitors, and are in advanced discussions for the promising Dutch talent. 


Pogba open to future PSG move


Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has indicated his willingness to join Paris Saint-Germain in the future. 

Speculation over the 25-year-old's future has been rampant in recent months after Pogba was occasionally benched in the second half of the season.

Pogba was in Paris for a photoshoot this week, leading to more talk he could be in line for a move to the Ligue 1 champions.

Everton hope to appoint Silva


Everton are hopeful of appointing Marco Silva as their new manager this week, according to the Daily Mail.

The Toffees still need to resolve an ongoing issue with Silva's former club Watford, who made a formal complaint to the Premier League when Everton approached him in January. 

Silva was later sacked by the Hornets, and Everton owner Farhad Moshiri is confident that issue can be resolved before the 40-year-old takes charge at Goodison Park. 


Bayern leading race for Rodrigo


Bayern Munich are leading the chase for Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno, reports Marca

The 27-year-old has attracted interest from all over Europe after scoring 19 goals for Los Che in 2017-18. 

The German side have contacted Valencia about Rodrigo's availability, with the forward likely to cost at least €60 million (£52m/$71m).


Pellegrini to take over at West Ham


West Ham United will name Manuel Pellegrini as their new manager by Tuesday at the latest, reports the Mirror

The former Man City boss most recently managed in China with Hebei China Fortune, which he departed at the weekend. 

The Hammers were interested in Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez, but the Spaniard ultimately decided to stay put after owner Mike Ashley promised a financial windfall in the transfer market.  


Napoli chief hints Sarri will leave


Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis has expressed his frustration with manager Maurizio Sarri. who has yet to commit his future to the club.

" Time has run out," De Laurentiis said about his manager clarifying his future, with Sarri linked with the soon-to-be vacant job at Chelsea. 

Sarri was previously reported to be nearing a new contract with Napoli, but De Laurentiis has suggested that may not be the case.
