Tottenham Hotspur v Real Madrid Betting: Another tight game on cards as both sides look to bounce back

Real Madrid head to Wembley in the Champions League to face Tottenham Hotspur on the back of their second league defeat of the campaign at the weekend, a result which leaves them eight points behind leaders Barcelona.

Their trip to London therefore comes at arguably the most difficult point of Zinedine Zidane's tenure, although the manager insisted that their 2-1 defeat at newly promoted Girona on Sunday evening was down to nothing more than lapses in concentration.

The European champions will have to be fully focussed on Wednesday evening against a Spurs side who gave them a real game at the Bernabeu two weeks ago, although the north Londoners also suffered a defeat at the weekend - going down 1-0 against Manchester United.

dabblebet offer Mauricio Pochettino's men at 23/10 (3.30) to record a win, while Real Madrid can be backed at 23/20 (2.15) to claim a victory in their first ever game at Wembley stadium and the draw is available at 13/5 (3.60).

Of course, Spurs' hopes will be conditioned by the fitness of Harry Kane, who missed the defeat to the Red Devils on Saturday, and the England striker proved himself to be a real handful for the Real Madrid defence two weeks ago; if he is available for selection he will surely be the hosts' most potent goal threat and he can be backed at 10/3 (4.33) to break the deadlock at Wembley.

If Madrid however play as they did in their last away game in the Champions League, Spurs could be in trouble as Los Blancos put in a fine performance during their 3-1 win in Dortmund on matchday two.

Nevertheless, with Madrid having conceded in seven of their last ten matches, Spurs will feel they can get on the scoresheet and both teams to score is priced at just 2/5 (1.40).

However, a more tempting option is to back 2-3 goals in the game at 23/20 (2.15), a selection which would have paid out in the first game and which has proved a winning selection in each of Madrid's last six contests in all competitions.

This bet wins with a 1-1 draw or a 2-0, 2-1 or 3-0 victory for either side, and that set of results gives us a great chance of making some profit by backing 2-3 goals in the game.
