Current Super League (MSL) top-scorer, Mohammed Ghaddar has received a new pair of boots from one of Kelantan's sponsors, according to Utusan Online

The Lebanon forward, who has bagged a staggering 16 league goals after 11 rounds of MSL have been played, was gifted the boots from Glow Glowing Beauty Skin.

The cosmetics company's managing director, Datuk Rowi Dollah told the publication that they hope that the reward will spur Ghaddar on throughout the remainder of the season.

"I have rewarded Ghaddar with a pair of boots as an encouragement gift.

"I hope they will motivate him to continue scoring even more goals after this," said Rowi.

The 32-year old striker's goal-scoring prowess in his third stint with the Red Warriors has seen him recording six more goals than the current second-best top scorer, Pahang's Matheus Alves.

In fact, he alone has found the back of the net more often this season than Pulau Pinang, Sarawak, Melaka United and Felda United.

By comparison, last season's MSL top-scorer, JDT's Jorge Pereyra Díaz finished the campaign with 18 goals. The biggest number of goals scored in a single MSL campaign was recorded in the 2008 season, by then Kedah forward Marlon Alex James who bagged 23 goals.

He has bagged three hat-tricks so far this season; in their 4-2 away win against Perak, 4-2 win at home against T-Team, while in their 5-1 win against Pulau last month, he scored four goals against the league strugglers.

Ghaddar is also still scoring for his home country, with his latest goal coming in their 2-0 Asian Cup qualification win over Hong Kong back in March.
