The Confederation of African Football excluded Victor Moses from the final three-man shortlist for the 2017 African Player of the Year.
And here is what Twitter had to say about the snub of the Chelsea wing-back who had an illustrious 2016-17 campaign where he won the English Premier League title and also guided Nigeria to the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia.
Moses deserves to be among the three, if not the winner!— Sydney (@xxydd) December 18, 2017
I think that Moses deserves to be in this short list more than Aubameyang... Anyway its Mo Salah age👌👌✌✌@22mosalah— Mohamed Dawood (@myds79) December 18, 2017
What Aubameyang is doing on this list should be explained to us all, Moses should have been on this list, won the Premier League this year and he's been neglected for Sane and Aubameyang?— Yemiojo Samuel (@yemmmyojo) December 18, 2017
How is CAF a football body?. Who the hell are those experts in charge of this.— MikeThePundit (@MichaelImianvan) December 18, 2017
In short they are telling me, Mane had a good year than Moses?!
Really shocked that Caf has overlooked Victor Moses. Incredible stuff!— Robert Madoi (@robertmadoi) December 18, 2017
I was asking the same question. What did Aubameyang achieve last season? It's crazy. Moses should be there.— Gorge @onombellar (@onombellar) December 18, 2017
Without moses in the fray.. It is safe to say salah. But the omission is shocking.— SimonSmith♈ (@_simonsteinz) December 18, 2017
No Victor Moses? This is not right.— Joseph Mez (@Iam_mizzytan) December 18, 2017
