The creative Masandawana midfielder says he is ready to face Amakhosi in their opening PSL match on Saturday

Mamelodi Sundows midfielder Themba Zwane says the fact that Kaizer Chiefs have their former teammate in Khama Billiat will make the match interesting.

Zwane was speaking ahead of the highly anticipated 2018/19 Premier Soccer Leaguen (PSL) opener at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Brazilians attacker exclusively spoke to Goal regarding Billiat's impact ahead of the match, but said they will change their tricks in order to topple Chiefs.

The  Zimbabwe international will meet his former Sundowns teammates for the first time in a competitive match.

“We are looking forward to playing against Chiefs. We can't question the timing of the match because our job is to respect the fixture,” Zwane told Goal.

“We must start against them and we are ready to face them. Obviously, it will be a different game and they saw how we play, [but] we have also studied their game plan,” said Zwane.

“Our plan is different now. We know they will come hard at us and will hope to avoid another loss since we beat them in the Shell Cup,” he said.

“I think Billiat will give them a scoop regarding our game and attacks - we saw in the Shell Cup, they were alert as far as our attack is concerned and how we take our set pieces,” responded Zwane.

“We know he has told them how we play our game. We are aware of these things and we will plan differently, but we also want a win on Saturday as we start to defend our league title,” he concluded.
