The Covert Agent: Mariners to sign Wanderers talent Abraham Majok

Central Coast Mariners have completed the signing of Western Sydney Wanderers attacker Abraham Majok with the official announcement to be made at the end of the season.

The Covert Agent can reveal the 20-year-old is believed to have penned a two-year deal in Gosford to get more senior opportunities after a breakthrough campaign under Markus Babbel at the Wanderers.

It is understood that soon-to-be-announced Mariners coach Alen Stajcic has been impressed by Majok's versatility along with his athleticism and pace.

Majok scored two goals for the Graham Arnold-coached Australian under-23's during the March qualification matches for the 2020 AFC U-23 Championships.

He made his debut for the Wanderers during the 2016-17 season but didn't again make the first team until the recent campaign - scoring two goals and getting an assist in 17 appearances.
