The Covert Agent: Krishna hunted by Melbourne Victory, rejects million-dollar Asian offer

Wellington star Roy Krishna has rejected a million-dollar deal from the Indian Super League, while fielding strong offers from the Phoenix and Melbourne Victory.

The Covert Agent can reveal the A-League's top scorer turned down an offer worth nearly AU$500k-a-season over three years from Indian club ATK - who have former Premier League manager Steve Coppell in charge.

The out-of-contract Krishna has also received a marquee deal worth AU$450k-a-season from current club Wellington but is believed to be delaying to see what other offers may arise.

It's understood Melbourne Victory are interested in the Fijian attacker with players such as Keisuke Honda and James Troisi likely to depart at the end of the campaign.

Krishna is believed to be most keen on a move to a strong Asian competition such as the Chinese Super League, J-League or K-League as he reaches the prime form of his career at 31 years of age.

He has scored 18 goals and nabbed five assists in 25 A-League appearances to help spearhead the Phoenix to the cusp of a top-four position.
