Ulinzi Stars have been told to expect nothing from their trip to Awendo this weekend.
The Soldiers will be hosted by a wounded Sony Sugar side so desperate for a win having lost their opening Kenyan Premier League match against Wazito last weekend.
Sony went down to the newly promoted side at Camp Toyoyo, but coach Salim Babu said that the lose was a wake-up call to him, adding that the team needs to rebound from the shock defeat with nothing but a win against visiting Ulinzi Stars on Sunday.
“We were a bit sluggish against Wazito and we found ourselves chasing the game, but we are not going to repeat the same mistake against Ulinzi. They should expect nothing (point) here,” Babu told Goal.
Ulinzi Stars beat Zoo FC 4-2 in their league opener at home last Saturday.
Babu, however, appealed to Sony Sugar fans to show up in large numbers and cheer the team to victory at the Awendo Green Stadium.
