Sone Aluko shines in Reading’s draw with Hull City

Nigeria international Sone Aluko put up a fine display to help Reading to a 1-1 draw in an English Championship fixture.

The winger who teamed up with the Madejski Stadium side from Fulham in the summer provided the assist for the equaliser after they were down by a goal.

Fraizer Campbell found the net for Leonid Slutsky’s team in the 28th minutes of the clash after being fed by Sebastian Larsson.

With three minutes left to play, Jon Dadi Boedvarsson dashed the hope of KCOM Stadium outfit of carting away the maximum points when he equalized after Aluko lofted the ball into his path and the Icelandic did not fail in sending goalkeeper Allan McGregor to the wrong side of the net.

Reading are on the 18thh spot on the log with nine points from eight games and will next square up with Millwall on Tuesday.
