Senegal starlet Moussa Wague joins Barcelona

The 19-year-old right-back has completed a move from Belgium to Spain after an agreement was reached

Senegal’s Moussa Wague has signed a five-year contract with Barcelona B side from AS Eupen.

The starlet has joined the Spanish third-tier outfit in a €5 million deal, with a €100 million release clause.

Wague made his professional debut for the Pandas, after a switch from Aspire Academy in Qatar, in a 1-0 loss to Genk on January 21 2017. And in his two seasons in the first team, he played just 23 games for them.

His impressive performances at this summer's World Cup with Senegal saw a lot of top European sides circle around for his signature.

And having passed his medicals on Friday, he put pen on paper to commit his future to the club.

The youngster will be looking forward to his debut when Barcelona B lock horns with Alcoyano on August 25 in the Segunda B encounter.
