The African duo both scored second half goals to help their respective clubs avoid defeat in a Turkish top flight encounter

Samuel Eto’o and Moryke Fofana were on target in Antalyaspor’s 1-1 draw with Konyaspor in Saturday’s Turkish Super Lig duel at Konya Buyuksehir Stadium.

After the first half ended in a stalemate, Fofana got the opener for Mustafa Resit Akcay’s men in the 75th minute courtesy of an assist from Nejc Skubic.

And Eto’o, making his 12th appearance this term, then netted with five minutes left to mark his sixth goal of the season. The former Barcelona forward's strike rescued Leonardo’s side from their sixth loss in the Turkish elite division this season.

The former Cameroon international joined the Scorpions in the summer of 2015 for free from Sampdoria and has been impressive thus far.

Antalyaspor are placed 13th in the log, three places above the relegation water after gathering 13 points from 12 matches and will look to climb further away from the drop zone when they welcome Fenerbahce to Antalya Arena on November 26.

On the other hand, Konyaspor are placed 15th, just a place above the drop zone, with 11 points and will hope to improve on the result of this encounter when they host Olympique Marseille at Konya Buyuksehir Belediye Stadyumu on Thursday for a Uefa Europa League encounter.

Nigeria duo of Imoh Ezekiel and Patrick Eze were also on parade for the Anatolian Eagle in the outing.
