Twelve-time Kenyan champions AFC Leopards have gone twenty years without winning the league.

The last league crown came to The Den way back in 1998; until now it has been near misses with coaches coming and going after failing to deliver. The latest tactician is Rodolfo Zapata, who has admitted there is pressure to perform.

"It is true, as I said Leopards is a big team and my main challenge is winning the league, that is what the supporters want. If we are not going to make it happen this season, I am sure that will change next season or so.

"We need consistency in the way we play as well as performance but we need to have realistic expectations.

"We signed six young players, they are young and willing to learn and once they adapt I am sure we will have a stronger team,” Zapata told Goal.

Ingwe has won nine matches, drawn eight and lost four this season.
