Real Madrid vs Leganes: TV channel, live stream, squad news & preview

There may be nothing Real Madrid can do to stop Barcelona from winning La Liga this weekend, but Zinedine Zidane's men still have the fight for second place to keep in mind when they host Leganes on Saturday.

A 15-point difference between third-place Madrid and leaders Barca means the capital club have hardly been in the race this season and the Catalan side need just a draw from Sunday's trip to Deportivo to complete the formality.

But Madrid can still close the four points that separate them and local rivals Atletico Madrid to add to their pursuit of a third consecutive Champions League crown.

They will have to try without many key players, however, as Zidane is expected to rest the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and Marcelo - and they have already been stung by Leganes in the Copa del Rey this term.

Zinedine Zidane Real Madrid Champions LeagueFRANCK FIFE

Although Real Madrid were recently held to a draw by Athletic Club and Atletico Madrid in recent games, their domestic form has been solid.

By contrast, Leganes have had a poor second half of the season, having won just three times since the start of February, but have just about managed to avoid falling into a relegation scrap.

But with the second leg of their Champions League semi-final with Bayern Munich coming up followed by a clash with Barcelona, Zinedine Zidane is set to rest a few key players for Saturday's tie.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro are all expected to miss the game, while the defence will be much different with Marcelo and Raphael Varane being rested and Dani Carvajal out injured.

It means Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema will likely start at the pinnacle of the attack, while Dani Ceballos, Mateo Kovacic and Marcos Llorente will be in midfield.

With Jesus Vallejo, Theo Hernandez and Achraf Hakimi in the defence, Leganes may fancy their chances of replicating this season's Copa del Rey win over Zidane's team.
