The Chelsea star shared a picture of himself online, but did not get the reaction he may have been hoping for from two former Barca players

Cesc Fabregas's latest Instagram photograph has earned him plenty of admirers, but also some abuse from his former team-mates.

The Chelsea midfielder posted a picture of himself topless on the social media site, but was probably not expecting some light-hearted criticism from former Barcelona duo David Villa and Alex Song.

Who's winning the Golden Shoe race?

Among the 700+ replies Fabregas received was one from former Spain international Villa, who wrote "Put a t-shirt on kid and breathe out, go on."

While former Arsenal midfielder Song chimed in with a similarly scathing reply, commenting "I can't see anything my bro you have to improve"

Despite Villa and Song's criticism, most of the replies to the photograph were positive, with many people praising his physique as well as his passing ability.

Chelsea currently lead the Premier League table by eight points, with Fabregas having played in 13 of their 22 league games so far this season.
