Betting Special: Latest Premier League relegation odds as Stoke and Huddersfield sink deeper into trouble

Manchester City are the runaway leaders at the top of the Premier League table, but the battle to beat the drop could well go down to the wire.

West Bromwich Albion, Stoke City and Southampton are the teams occupying the bottom three places at present, but it is remarkably tight, with just five points separating seven teams.

Baggies adrift

West Brom are 10 points adrift of safety with just seven matches of their season remaining, while the Baggies have won just one of their last 29 Premier League matches.

Alan Pardew's side have suffered seven straight defeats and their predicament is reflected by bet365's 1/125 (1.008) quote for West Brom to be relegated. The bookies believe they're all but relegated at this stage.

Struggling Stoke

Paul Lambert's side have failed to win any of their last seven matches; the Potters face Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in their next two games and the odds compilers offer just 4/11 (1.36) that Stoke slide into the Championship at the end of the current campaign.

Hughes hope?

Southampton have slipped into the bottom three but the Saints will hope that the appointment of Mark Hughes as manager will halt their decline; the former Stoke City boss has never suffered relegation but bet365 go just 15/8 (2.88) that the Saints go down.

London rivals

Crystal Palace's hopes of survival were bolstered by a vital victory against Huddersfield Town at the weekend; the Eagles, too, will be delighted to have talisman, Wilfried Zaha, back in the side after injury and Roy Hodgson's team are considered as a 13/2 (7.50) chance to be relegated.

West Ham United have a number of issues to contend with - both on and off the field - and bet365 go 5/2 (3.50) that relegation compounds the misery for David Moyes' men.

Latest Premier League relegation odds

Swans and Magpies safe?

Swansea City have lost just one of their last eight Premier League matches and Carlos Carvalhal's charges will be confident of staying up; the Swans are a 5/1 (6.0) chance to be relegated.

Newcastle United have avoided defeat in eight of their last 10 league matches and Rafa Benitez's side look well-placed to avoid the drop - the Magpies are a 16/1 (17.0) shot with bet365 to slide back into the Championship.

Terriers in trouble

Huddersfield Town have picked up just seven points from their last 10 matches - and they have failed to score in each of their last three.

David Wagner's side face Chelsea, Everton, Manchester City and Arsenal in their last four fixtures and, so, bet365's 11/8 (2.38) quote for the Terriers to be relegated could offer good value for punters in this market.
