Kisumu County side, Plateau Queens will square it out with Ugari from Migori County in the Chapa Dimba na Safaricom tournament Nyanza edition regional finals on Sunday.

Plateau Queens from Nyando secured a final berth after downing Omebera from Nyamira County 4-1 in the girls’ semi-final stage at the Gisii Stadium in Kisii County on Saturday.

Ugari beat Ekenyoro 2-1 in the other girls' semifinal.

Carolyne Atieno and Emmah Okwoyo scored the two goals for Ugari while  Salome Kwamboka pulled Ekenyoro’s consolation.

In the boys final, Awendo Academy will tackle Ombek Red Devils from Homa Bay County.

Ombek saw off Manyatta from Kisumu by a solitary goal in the semis while Awendo booked a final berth win a win over Nyamira Eagles 2-0 in the other semi final.

The final will take place on Sunday at the same venue with the winners booking a place in the finals set for early next year.
