Kakamega Homeboyz coach, Mike Mururi has warned club's new signings over complacency.

Western-based side completed the signing of 10 players including Tusker trio, striker Allan Wanga, defender James Situma and Noah Wafula.

Mururi however, noted that everyone will have to fight for his rightful place in the squad.

"The three are good signings for us, we are aware of their value and I believe their input will be important to us. We already have a good team, but that does not mean they will come and go straight to the first eleven.

"They have to work hard for their positions or else they will find it hard to break into the first eleven, since competition is high.

"In 2016, we finished eighth, last season fifth, and this time around we want to try and finish in the top three or if we adapt early enough, we can challenge for the title as well."

The three proven winners will be aiming at helping the team finish in a good position and maybe challenge for the championship.
