Nigeria U20 women to resume camp on December 17 for South Africa clash

Nigeria U20 women national team will resume camp on Sunday, December 17 for next month's final Fifa U20 Women's World Cup qualifying clash against South Africa. 

The Falconets defeated Tanzania 9-0 and Morocco 6-2 to reach the last stage, while the Basetsana progressed after 6-0 and 5-2 wins over Namibia and Burundi respectively.

With the first leg a month away, Christopher Danjuma's side will return to the Serob Hotel and would commence training on Monday to intensify preparation for the meeting with Maud Khamalo's side.

This meeting will be the sixth between both countries in the final stage of the qualifier, with the west African giants winning on all previous occasions.

The first leg clash will take place at the Dobsonville Stadium in Johannesburg on January 12, while the return leg will hold twice weeks later at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.

Winner over two legs will secure one of the two available tickets as African representatives at the Fifa U20 Women's World Cup in France next year.
