Singida United are all set to appoint former Mbao FC Head Coach Etienne Ndayiragije as the team prepare for life without Hans van Pluijm who is reportedly on the verge of joining Azam at the end of the season.
Ndayiragije is a free agent after terminating his contract with the Mwanza based club early on this month.
Speaking to Goal, Singida United’s Director, Festo Sanga said that the discussions are ongoing and they will announce the deal if all the details will be agreed by both sides.
“Ndayiragije is one of the best coaches in our league, so we have to act fast because other teams can lure him in front of us,” said Sanga.
Pluijm who had a spell with Yanga in the past, led Singida United in their debut season in top flight to the Federation Cup final were they will meet Mtibwa Sugar.
